Transformative Impact of Web Series
Description
This dataset contains survey responses collected from 204 Generation Z participants aged 18–25 from five Indian states. The dataset records participants’ exposure to vocabulary from Indian and international web series, their use of informal expressions in daily and formal communication, and their interaction with social media language. The dataset includes demographic details, Likert-scale responses, and frequency counts for slang terms and short forms. The dataset supports analysis using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and ANOVA. The dataset provides evidence on how digital-media vocabulary influences Gen Z’s communication patterns, language proficiency, and register shifting.
