Periostin concentrations were significantly higher in AD and PsV compared with the healthy control (*P < 0.01). Mean values were 39.666±1.177 ng/mL in the healthy normal, 104.025±6.507 ng/mL in AD (P < 0.001) and 67.526±1.047 ng/mL in PsV (P < 0.001). Data represent mean ± SD from triplicate measurements, analyzed using a paired t-test.
