Street Food Vendors' KAP about Food Hygiene

Street-vended foods are an important source of affordable food in Bangladesh, but unsafe handling can increase the risk of foodborne disease. This study assessed food hygiene knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) among street food vendors in Bogra District, Bangladesh, and examined associations with sociodemographic characteristics. A cross-sectional survey was conducted from 22 October to 15 November 2025 among 205 street food vendors recruited purposively from major vending locations in Bogra District, Bangladesh. A pre-tested, study-specific questionnaire assessed sociodemographic characteristics and food hygiene KAP. Internal consistency was assessed with Cronbach’s alpha.
