This dataset contains hygrothermal monitoring data collected from a timber-frame dwelling in Scotland following the installation of open-cell spray foam insulation. Eight sensors monitored locations within the roof and walls, the loft, the living room and the outdoor environment between 1 November 2022 and 1 March 2025. Recorded variables include temperature, relative humidity, dew point and wood moisture equivalent (WME), with readings taken at approximately five-minute intervals. The data support the assessment of seasonal moisture accumulation and drying, alongside conditions associated with mould growth, interstitial condensation and timber decay
