Long term database of morphometric measurements of short-finned pilot whales off the Canary Islands (Eastern North Atlantic population) from aerial photographs. Steps to reproduce
Drone based aerial photograph collection ( DJI Mavic 3, Mavic 2 and Inspire 1) with addition of LIDAR altimeter for precise altitude estimation above the water. Data analysis using morphometric techniques based on Christiansen et al. 2018.
