MgO-based adsorbent dataset

Description

This dataset contains 345 literature-derived records of CO2 adsorption by molten-salt-promoted MgO sorbents, collected from 22 published studies. It includes sorbent composition, preparation variables, available adsorption conditions, textural properties, and CO2 adsorption capacity. The database was compiled to support machine-learning analysis of composition–condition–performance relationships within the published MgO sorbent literature. The accompanying files include the complete spreadsheet, source references, variable definitions, units, and data-processing notes. Values marked with “~” indicate approximate values reported in the original literature; the numeric value following “~” is used for analysis and retained as an approximate-value flag. Users should cite both this dataset and the original references when reusing the data.
