• The MIID featuring over 200k rows distributed across 22 diverse therapeutic classes. The dataset includes the name, link, contains, uses, side effects, and chemical class. • The dataset can be beneficial to the classifying medicines by therapeutic classes. • Enhancing the prediction of medicine indications and interactions with deep Learning and NLP. • The dataset provides a useful resource for medical researchers, healthcare professionals, drug manufacturers, data scientists, and enthusiasts interested in exploring the world of medicines and healthcare products preclinical for drug development and design. • MIID.csv.gz provides the raw data, including medicines information, and therapeutic_class_counts.xlsx provides the distribution of medicines per therapeutic class.
