XGAL staining of the initial transient transgenic mouse embryos containing -690 to +40 bp of the Hapln1 promoter, the -690Hapln1-LacZ reporter construct. The interpretation is that all of transgenic mouse share the phenotype of limb-genitalia specific expression, but the specific location in the limb varies.
