Description

This dataset supports the manuscript “Payer-side monitoring of nurse-staffing mandates in Taiwan: An administrative data study.” The files contain public aggregate administrative-data derivatives, source manifests, data dictionaries, manuscript table inputs, processed analysis panels, final analysis-output tables, and scripts used to reproduce the reported tables and supplementary analyses. The dataset is intended to support transparent review of payer-side monitoring indicators for nurse-staffing mandate implementation in Taiwan, including staffing compliance, insured and registered bed denominators, claims-based activity and payment-intensity measures, emergency-department indicators, annual occupancy context, and geographic monitoring variables. All source materials are public aggregate administrative data from official Taiwan government sources or derived public-data panels. The dataset does not contain patient-level records, identifiable individual-level data, restricted claims data, or private hospital operating data. The files support reproduction and interpretation of the manuscript’s administrative monitoring analyses; they should not be interpreted as direct patient-outcome data, direct open/staffed-bed evidence, or direct access-effect estimates.
