Data Set Cyber security Issues in University and College Students in India

A questionnaire technique through Google Forms to collect the data from June to December 2023 from university students 615 participants; 267 females and 348 males completed the survey questionnaire. The dataset presented the report of Indian University students’ awareness level of cybercrime. The supplemental dataset in this study, utilized to assess the level of cybersecurity knowledge among Indian university students, is reported in detail. Personal and skill information, Cybersecurity Activities, Cybercrime Consciousness, and Case Reports are the four primary sections of the study. Two different methods are used to recruit subjects: the individual has to be of Indian descent, and their age should be over 17. Participants are gathered using selective and snowball methods via institutional mail from 7 Indian universities and WhatsApp messaging to persons who met the criteria.
