Description

This dataset is used to study the impact of climate finance on the development of renewable energy, with a particular focus on adaptive climate finance. The data encompasses renewable energy production, adaptive climate finance amounts, public investment in renewable energy, per capita GDP, coal consumption, renewable energy consumption, carbon dioxide emissions, net inflow of foreign direct investment as a percentage of GDP, industrial value added as a percentage of GDP to measure the level of industrial development, and labor force participation rate.

The data primarily originates from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)'s Development Assistance Committee (DAC), and the World Bank's World Development Indicators (WDI) Database.
