Description

This dataset contains observational data collected near the Grande-Anse terminal wharf in the Saguenay Fjord, Quebec, Canada, during field campaigns conducted in 2023 and 2024. The measurements were collected to investigate large-amplitude internal waves and their potential implications for ship navigation and manoeuvrability. The dataset includes measurements from moored RBR temperature and temperature-depth loggers, a bottom-mounted ADCP, a towed ADCP, a towed echosounder, and a vessel-based CTD, as well as vessel GPS data. These data support the associated manuscript, Large-amplitude internal waves near a wharf: Observations and implications for navigation. Additional information on the dataset organization and contents is provided in the accompanying README.
