Description

A survey was conducted to determine the trip frequencies and reasons for traveling of the residents in Metro Cebu, Philippines, since the first lockdown was imposed. The survey was distributed online on May 2021 through Google Forms. The following information are presented in this dataset: (1) socio-demographic profiles of respondents; (2) personal knowledge about COVID-19 related questions; (3) purpose for traveling before and during pandemic; and (4) weekly trip frequencies before and during the pandemic.

Steps to reproduce

An initial questionnaire was developed by reviewing related literature. Once it was finalized, the questionnaire was submitted for ethics review. After approval, it was encoded in Google Forms and was distributed online through social media channels. A snowball sampling was employed to promote faster turnover of responses.
