Description

Four sets of artificial and natural rocks were abraded in Flume experiments. The shape of the specimens was captured by 3D scanning multiple times during the abrasion. Description of the datasets: Exp. I: 10 pcs. concrete cubes, 40 kg of large abraders, 0.77 m/s velocity, 400 mins. Exp. II: Single concrete cube, 32 kg of small abraders, 1 m/s velocity, 150 mins. Exp. III: Limestone fragments, 40 kg of large abraders, 0.64 m/s velocity, 180 mins. Exp. IV: Single sandstone cube, 33 kg of small abraders, 0.23 m/s velocity, 490 mins.
