Description

•Systematic reviews of available research identify the need to accelerate research on masculinities and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and especially gender-transformative approaches which seek to promote health and gender-equality simultaneously. •To build a research agenda that reflects diverse perspectives and shared ownership, systematic reviews should be complemented with consultation with wider stakeholders. •This study establishes 26 research priorities on masculinities and SRHR, informed by systematic reviews of evidence and a collaborative and scientific process of engagement with diverse stakeholders.
