Supplementary uniaxial compression, triaxial compression, and direct shear test plots for intact rocks

Description

This dataset contains supplementary laboratory test plots supporting the manuscript entitled “Laboratory evaluation of direct shear testing for characterizing intact-rock strength parameters.” It comprises uniaxial compression, triaxial compression, and direct shear test plots for 11 lithologically diverse intact rocks. Specifically, it includes uniaxial compression stress–strain curves (Figs. S1–S11), triaxial compression stress–strain curves and corresponding Mohr diagrams (Figs. S12–S22), and direct shear stress–displacement curves obtained under different normal stresses (Figs. S23–S33). The specimens used in the different testing programmes were obtained from the same original rock blocks. These plots provide supplementary documentation of the laboratory responses used in the comparative evaluation presented in the manuscript.
