Data for "Antarctic meltwater reduces the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation through oceanic freshwater transport and atmospheric teleconnections"

Description

Using the Earth system model of intermediate complexity, LOVECLIM, the impact of Antarctic Ice Sheet (AIS) melting on the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) is analyzed. This study examines how this impact varies with different meltwater input locations by introducing additional freshwater fluxes in five distinct regions around Antarctica. Descriptions of variables used in the study can be found in the README file.
