Codependency
Description
It is aimed to examine the correlations between codependency, family functionality, attachment styles and defense mechanisms of the individuals with dependent relatives (research group) and individuals without dependent relatives (comparison group). And also aimed to determine the predictors of codependency in terms of scientifically correlated variables with codependency for each group. The data were collected from a total of 119 participants, including 60 participants (research group) who have addicted relatives and 59 participants who do not have addicted relatives (comparison group), with their consent via googleforms. Codependency Assessment Tool, McMaster Family Assessment Device, Relationship Scales Questionnaire and Defense Styles Questionnaire were used for the research. Total and subscale scores of the relevant scales were calculated.
