Description

This repository contains the primary dataset and the R master script used to replicate the demographic analysis, stochastic mortality modeling (Lee-Carter), and forecasting (ARIMA) presented in the associated research article. The data covers historical mortality and population records in Ecuador from 2012 to 2024, including the structural break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
