Description

oleuropein administration improved cerebral edema, hyponatremia, and decreased cardiac dysfunction markers and ACE activities with remarkable mitigation of oxidative stress in brain tissue. Moreover, in silico analysis revealed strong inhibitions of ACE, protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) and TGF-β1 activities. Overall, oleuropein offers neuroprotective, anti-embolic and antioxidative properties in ischemic stroke.
