Social Work Attitude Test for Students (SWATS-15)
Description
This is a 15 item scale that measures the attitude of student applicants to social work programs. The scale is an indicator of the extent to which an applicant possess the ideal attitude to become an ethical social work professional in the future. The scale may also be used by agencies to select social work interns and schools of social work may use it to assess the progress of social work students in terms of the extent to which students value social work ethics. The scale has been been developed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and is highly reliable (McDonald's omega: 0.92). The scale is free to use.
