Dataset for “Clinical and Occlusal Outcomes of Treatments for Anterior Mandibular Fractures: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis”
Description
This dataset contains the complete analytical and graphical materials used in the systematic review and network meta-analysis evaluating the clinical performance and post-treatment occlusal outcomes of interventions for anterior mandibular fractures. The files include: Raw and processed data files (.xlsx, .csv) containing study identifiers, sample sizes, treatment types, follow-up periods, and event data (failure rates, malocclusion incidence, and other clinical outcomes). R scripts (.R, .Rmd) used for the end-to-end network meta-analysis, including data preparation, pairwise comparisons, random-effects network estimation, and generation of forest plots, league tables, and treatment ranking (P-scores). CINeMA-related materials (risk-of-bias and indirectness matrices, domain judgments, and heatmaps exported from the CINeMA platform) documenting the confidence assessment for each comparison in the network. Figures (in .png and .pdf formats) illustrating the network geometry, ranking probability plots, CINeMA heatmaps, and risk-of-bias summaries. ReadMe file describing the variable definitions, data structure, and instructions to reproduce all analyses. All data were extracted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines and analyzed using the meta and netmeta R packages (version ≥6.5-0). The reference treatment in all analyses was the conventional two-miniplate fixation approach. This repository supports transparency and reproducibility of the findings reported in the corresponding manuscript.
