Ice-tethered mooring in Eureka Sound (Canadian Arctic)
Description
The dataset comprises data collected from the landfast ice in the northern portion of Eureka Sound (80.0156°N, 86.6451°W) between November 17, 2024, and May 21, 2025. The collection comprises three subsets: the temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen data obtained from a McLane Ice-tethered profiler (ITP) that conducted two paired (upcast/downcast) profiles daily between approximately 3 and 335 meters in depth; and the current velocity data collected with one upward-looking RDI WorkHorse 300 kHz ADCP and one downward-looking ADCP of the same model deployed at approximately 105 meters in depth.

Steps to reproduce
Temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen data collected by the ITP are presented in 0.5 dbar vertical bins. For each profile, the measurement closest to each pressure bin center was assigned to that bin for each parameter. Timestamps correspond to the start time of each profile. Temperature is reported in degrees Celsius (°C), salinity in practical salinity units (PSU), and dissolved oxygen in mmol. Downward- and upward-looking ADCP data are exported from the WinADCP program in MATLAB format (without being corrected for the local magnetic deviation).
