Description

This study probed the causal interconnections between 731 immunocyte phenotypes and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) via Mendelian randomization methodologies. The MR analysis discerned six immune cell phenotypes with statistically significant positive correlations, and four with protective associations, in relation to ARDS, with parallel associations observed in pediatric ARDS (PARDS). The accompanying datasets encompass the ancillary results, including scatter plots, sensitivity analyses (leave-one-out), and funnel plots pertinent to each immunocyte phenotype linked to ARDS or PARDS. These findings collectively elucidate the intricate immune pathways involved in ARDS pathogenesis, thereby offering insights for potential therapeutic avenues.
