The data illustrates the effect of different chick sizes of Japanese quails fed different dietary protein levels on the growth indices of the birds so as to guide farmers on the nutritional requirement of the birds irrespective of the initial weight differential to enable the chicks arrive table size within six weeks of age. It proffers the solution to quail farmers and hatcheries who may want to reject most especially small chicks because of the low weight therefore curbing losses by the hatcheries.
