Description

Values of sponge abundance and fractal dimension used for the canonical correspondence analysis, and of minimal distances between individual sponges and high slope features, in the work named "Applied Structure from Motion Photogrammetry: Habitat Complexity and Sponge Abundance in Natural Rocky Reefs in Southern Portugal".

Steps to reproduce

The values of fractal dimension were obtained from underwater photogrammetry models, using a Python script created by Grace C. Young in her work named "Cost and time effective method for multiscale measures of rugosity, fractal dimension, and vector dispersion from coral reef 3D models.". The script was used inside the Rhyno 3D software. The sponge abundances were obtained also by counting in the photogrammetry models.
