Description

The dataset contains the codes to compute the thermal averages in counterflow tube-within-tube heat exchangers.

Steps to reproduce

To compute the overall heat transfer coefficient and the rate of heat transfer, the code named "heat_transfer_coefficient.sci" has to be run, if needed changing the input and output temperatures of the hot and cold fluids respectively. The thermal means can then be computed and plotted (for any length of the heat exchanger) by running the code named "Thermal Means-Heat Exch-CF.sce". If needed, the overall heat transfer coefficient and the boundary conditions may be modified in the code.
