Description

This dataset contains characterization results for two hydrogels: gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) and poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA). Traditional mechanical tests, pulse-echo ultrasound, and rheology were performed on an array of samples. Hydrogel concentration is noted as % w/v and hydrogel curing time is noted in seconds. An overview of the data files is given below. GelMA_Characterization_Data.xlsx - Acoustic impedance calculations and values - Attenuation coefficient values - Bulk modulus calculations and values - Density calculations and values - Poisson's ratio calculations - Speed of sound values - Viscosity values as a function of shear rate - Young's modulus values PEGDA_Characterization_Data.xlsx - Attenuation coefficient values - Bulk modulus calculations and values - Density calculations and values - Speed of sound values - Viscosity values as a function of shear rate - Young's modulus values The stress-strain values obtained from compression testing are provided in the folders "GelMA_CompressionFiles" and "PEGDA_CompressionFiles".
