Steps to reproduce
This study followed the modified PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines to ensure transparency and rigor in the identification and selection of relevant literature. A comprehensive search was conducted in the Scopus database using a structured query that combined three core dimensions: programming-related terms (e.g., programming, coding, computational thinking, algorithm design), problem-solving constructs (e.g., problem-solving strategies, Polya’s problem solving, analytical and logical reasoning), and blended learning modalities (e.g., blended learning, hybrid learning, flipped classroom, technology-enhanced learning). The search was performed using the TITLE-ABS-KEY fields to maximize retrieval of conceptually relevant publications.
