Description

The research data was collected through an online questionnaire distributed cross-sectionally from May to July 2023 in micro-small enterprises (MSEs) at Java and Sumatera Island, Indonesia. The survey included 381 businesses, of which 335 were micro-businesses (87.93%) and 46 were small businesses (12.07%). The research was focused on digital technology adoption (DTA), sustainable entrepreneurship (SEP), and sustainable business performance (SBP) in MSEs on the Java and Sumatra islands. Digital Technology Adoption (DTA) can increase business performance through the integration of digital technology into business operations (AL-allak, 2010; Jha et al., 2022; Lang et al., 2022; Ristyawan, 2020; Sharma et al., 2022; Tamvada et al., 2022). Meanwhile, Sustainable Entrepreneurship Practice (SEP) is an entrepreneurial practice that fulfills two crucial goals at the same time. These goals are an enterprise's development and sustainability maintenance (Shepherd & Patzelt, 2011). Finally, Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) considers both economic benefits and sustainability-related benefits, i.e., economic, social, and environmental (Le, 2022a; Shepherd & Patzelt, 2011).
