Description

This dataset contains placental tissue proteomic data from postpartum yaks with normal placental expulsion or retained placenta. Twelve yaks were divided into a normal placental release group (RL, placenta expelled within 12 h after parturition, n = 6) and a retained placenta group (RT, placenta not expelled within 12 h after parturition, n = 6). Placental tissue proteins were extracted, enzymatically digested, and analyzed by mass spectrometry using the Astral-DIA workflow. The dataset was generated to identify differentially abundant proteins and biological pathways associated with retained placenta in high-altitude yaks, with particular attention to inflammatory and immune responses, oxidative stress, endocrine regulation, and tissue-remodeling processes.
