Description

This dataset contains anonymized thermographic and clinical data collected for the randomized controlled trial entitled “Lower-limb thermal adaptations and functional outcomes following conventional physiotherapy with and without treadmill training in chronic stroke: a randomized controlled trial.” The dataset includes lower-limb infrared thermography data acquired before and after the intervention period in individuals with chronic stroke allocated to conventional physiotherapy with or without treadmill training. Thermographic images were obtained using a FLIR infrared camera under controlled environmental conditions and processed using FIJI/ImageJ with the ThermImageJ plugin. Regions of interest were defined for the anterior and posterior lower limbs and plantar foot regions, following previously described thermographic procedures and TISEM-based recommendations. The dataset also includes anonymized participant characteristics, intervention group allocation, region-of-interest temperature values, side-to-side thermal asymmetry variables, and functional outcome measures related to lower-limb performance and recovery after physiotherapy. These files are intended to support reproducibility, secondary analyses, and comparison with previous studies on thermographic assessment in stroke rehabilitation.
