This dataset contains raw experimental data supporting the analyses and figures presented in the manuscript ...... The data include measurements of root and shoot dry mass, shoot gas exchange, 13C and 15N composition, carbon-to-nitrogen ratio in roots, stems, and leaves of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.), and chlorophyll a fluorescence in leaves, stems, and roots. Additionally, the dataset includes images used for preparing figures of chloroplast ultrastructure and cross-sectional anatomy of the stem. All measurements were obtained within the NCN-funded project 2023/49/N/NZ9/03608 "Photochemical processes within vascular tissues and growth of tomato seedlings (Solanum lycopersicum L.)", led by Miron Gieniec.
