Juniperus is potential resource for essential oils utilizing in medicinal, food, cosmetic and agriculture industries. Local people use shoots particularly cones in treatment of rheumatism, hive, earache and insecticide. The surface position of resin glands and their constituents suggest their protective role against hard condition. High levels of α-pinene, limonene and α-cedrol, confirm different industrial, medicinal and agricultural applications of the species.
