Description

In order to investigate the bond strength and failure mode between fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) bars and ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) & ultra-high-performance seawater sea sand concrete (UHPSSC) effectively, 542 experimental data acquired from pullout tests were collected from relevant research papers. The failure modes consist of pullout failure and concrete splitting failure. 14 input parameters (Vf of steel fibre, Vf of PP/PE fibre, Concrete type, Concrete compressive strength, Water-to-binder ratio, Sand-to-binder ratio, Bar diameter, Cover-to-diameter ratio, Bonded-length-to-diameter ratio, Rib-spacing-to-diameter ratio, Rib-height-to-diameter ratio, Bar surface treatment, Bar fibre type, Bar tensile elastic modulus) were selected to study the effects of mechanical property and composition of UHPC/UHPSSC, along with the mechanical, geometric, and surface properties of FRP bar on bond strength and failure mode. The developed dataset can serve as an effective resource for investigating the bond strength and failure mode between FRP bars and UHPC/UHPSSC.
