Steps to reproduce
The Scopus database was selected as the primary source of data collection due to its extensive coverage of peer-reviewed academic literature across multidisciplinary fields. To retrieve publications related to project-based learning (PBL) in educational contexts, a structured search strategy was developed using Boolean operators and keyword combinations. The search query applied within the article title field was TITLE (“Project-Based Learning” OR “PBL” OR “PjBL”) AND (“education” OR “teaching”). The search was limited to publications indexed in Scopus between 1983 and 2024, and the data extraction process was conducted on June 22, 2025.
