Description

This preprint presents the Quantum Spacetime Flow Model (QSFM), a work-in-progress theoretical framework for quantum gravity and cosmology grounded in process ontology. The model proposes that spacetime is composed of discrete primitive elements called Quantum Spacetime Units (QTUs). Their sequential state updates—termed "historical frame refresh"—are taken as the fundamental dynamical process of the universe. Within this framework, several long-standing physical problems receive alternative interpretations: 1.Dark energy emerges from volume phase transitions of QTUs driven by micro-quantum (MQ) background fluctuations. 2.Dark matter is reinterpreted as "hidden gravity" arising from long-range spin correlations of the QTU network. 3.The black hole information paradox finds a possible resolution via historical frame encoding and unitary evolution. 4.Gravitational singularities are circumvented through a quantum incompressibility principle. 5.A cyclic rebirth mechanism of the universe is proposed based on global phase transitions. This research also extends beyond physics: three appendices explore connections to the philosophy of time, process ontology, and consciousness studies, investigating the dynamical origin of the arrow of time, how phenomenal consciousness may arise from historical frame refresh, and the cognitive meaning of "the present moment." Important note on the current stage: QSFM is still at an early conceptual stage. All physical interpretations (dark energy, dark matter, black hole information, etc.) are presented as tentative, revisable candidates. The framework is explicitly positioned as a "conceptual scaffold" rather than a fully developed physical theory. It is open to critical scrutiny and invites further refinement. Compared to the previous version, this revision improves mathematical formalization, clarifies the boundaries of computability, establishes a tentative interface with lattice QCD, outlines a numerical implementation roadmap, refines the theory's self-assessment, and deepens the philosophical discussions in the appendices.
