Description

This study investigates the impact of China’s growing food demand on African agricultural exports, with a particular focus on value-added components and their implications for development. Using a gravity model and panel data from 41 African countries, the analysis evaluates the effects of China’s food demand on: Total agricultural exports; Value-added exports; Value-added share.
