Description

The available files correspond to the analysis of the water efficient use on the campus of the University of Ibagué in Colombia during a period of measurements of 6 semesters. In this case, measurements were taken before, during and after the implementation of an wáter efficient water use project as a strategy to reduce water consumption on campus, environmental sustainability, education and contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Steps to reproduce

Description files: Population_University_Semester.xls: information on the population of the University of Ibagué campus is available during the period in which the water consumption measurements were made. WARI_results.xls: corresponds to the results of hydraulic simulations on the water consumption scenarios of the Water use efficiency analysis. Likewise, the simulation scenarios implemented, investments and savings in water consumption during the analysis period are described. Water_Consumption_Day.xls: Information is available on measurements of water consumption on a daily scale, obtained from the buildings in which the analyzes were carried out within the campus of the University of Ibagué during the analyzed period. Water_Consumption_Monthly.xls: nformation on water consumption measurements is available on a monthly scale, obtained from the buildings in which the analyzes were carried out within the campus of the University of Ibagué during the analyzed period. Observed_values_flow.txt: contains the record of LPS flow measurements carried out in the buildings on the University of Ibagué campus during the analyzed period. This file is used with the EPANET model. Observed_values_pressure.txt: contains the record of pressure measurements in m, carried out in the buildings on the campus of the University of Ibagué during the analyzed period. This file is used with the EPANET model. Scenario_0.NET: simulación of Water consumption prior to the implementation of the Water use efficiency análisis. Scenario_1.NET: Water consumption when the leaks in pipes have been repaired and overflows in storage tanks have been controlled of the Water use efficiency análisis. Scenario_2.NET: Water consumption when low water consumption equipment has been installed in sanitary service areas without repairing pipe leaks nor installing overflow control valves in storage tanks. of the Water use efficiency análisis. Scenario_3.NET: Water consumption when leaks in pipes have been repaired, overflows in storage tanks have been controlled, and low water consumption equipment is installed in sanitary service áreas of the Water use efficiency análisis.
