Balinese Mask Image Dataset
Description
This dataset consists of images of Balinese mask types. The images were collected from September 2024 to January 2025 in the Bali area. There are a total of 4,710 images in this dataset, and each image is annotated and labeled with 13 Mask names: Topeng Dalem Arsa Wijaya, Topeng Bujuh, Topeng Tua, Topeng Keras, Topeng Sidakarya, Topeng Penasar, Topeng Wijil, Topeng Telek, Topeng Jauk Keras, Topeng Jauk Manis, Topeng Barong Bangkung, Topeng Barong Ket, and Topeng Barong Macan. The purpose of creating this dataset is to support the development of computer applications that utilize machine learning and computer vision algorithms.

Steps to reproduce
The dataset was collected directly using a handphone with shooting scenarios such as front view, side view, tilt angle, and lighting conditions of the Balinese Mask. The entire dataset has been divided into 3 types namely training, validation and test. The dataset is ready to be used for machine learning projects such as mobile-based mask type detection applications using the YOLO method.
