Description

The data collects values of mass and moisture content of spruce wood samples under 23 °and cyclic step-changes of 72/95 % of relative humidity. Only a single surface of each specimen was open for moisture transport. One-dimensional moisture transport in tangential and radial directions was studied. File also includes basic properties of specimens and recorded boundary conditions during the experiment. For better understanding of the heat of sorption, the temperature difference between the ambient and thermally-insulated bottom surface of two specimens was also recorded. For the data to be used for the verification of hygro-thermal numerical simulation tool, the file also includes functions of hygric properties (sorption and moisture permeability) of the same wood and parameters of proposed sorption-hysteresis model.
