The dataset reports the total inventory cost and the related service level achieved by 273 different configurations of an inventory system for perishable product. Each configuration is characterized by different values of 8 input parameters (unitary inventory cost, unitary stockout cost, order issuing cost, unitary disposal cost, parameters a and b of the demant weibull distribution, shelf life and percentage of demand which is not satisfied with available stock which is lost. The configurations were defined on the basis of a CCD DoE. Two different inventory policies were considered: perdiodic review and continuous review (S,s)
