Description

This dataset include model outputs for the model runs discussed in Horvath, D. G. and Andrews-Hanna, J. C. (2024), The hydrology of the Jezero crater paleolake: Implications for the climate and limnology of the lake system from hydrological modeling, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, 635, 118690. http://doi.org/10.1016/j.epsl.2024.118690. Outputs for models provided in the supplementary material is also provided. Files are in ascii format. Two file types are included: 1) the Jezero lake morphology and hydrology for the three model sets discussed in the manuscript (Jezero_*.dat) and 2) the hydraulic head over the entire domain which can be used to derive water table depth and lake depths. The first files type includes lake level, lake depth, lake area, lake volume, influxes and outfluxes at Jezero crater as a function of aridity index for individual model sets (see paper for details). Hydraulic head information is not included for model set 'Jezero_hstrat.dat' as this model contains no subsurface component and thus all pertinent information is contained with the first file type for this model set. A file format readme is also included.
