Description

These datasets were used for developing the Multivariate Analysis presented in the following papers that validated Licht (2018) classification model for Paraná Igneous Province rocks: GEOCHEMICAL TYPOLOGY VALIDATION OF PARANÁ IGNEOUS PROVINCE IN THE STATE OF PARANÁ USING STATISTICAL MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS DOI: 10.34188/bjaerv8n1-144 Using Multivariate Statistical Analysis to Validate a Geochemical Typology Model: A Case Study of the New Model Proposed for Paraná Igneous Province in the State of Paraná, Brazil DOI: 10.30845/ijast.vol14p2 Multivariate Statistical Techniques Applied to Five Subsets of a Multielemental Lithogeochemical Database to Test and Validate a Geochemical Typology Classification Model for the Paraná Igneous Province

Steps to reproduce

The database used in the research that originated the above mentioned papers was extracted from the database containing 5,974 samples (Licht and Lima 2014,a, b; Licht 2018), and it comprises 1,374 samples and 74 geochemical variables. The locations from which the samples were taken in the state of Paraná, Brazil. These 5 working datasets were developed to perform the Multivariate Analysis that validated Licht (2018) classification model for the Parana Igneous Province rocks.
