Description

This dataset supports the manuscript “Bacterial Community Assembly Mechanisms in Salinized Farmland Drainage Sediments: Synergistic Effects of Salinity Gradient-Mediated Environmental Filtering and Dispersal Limitation” submitted to Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment. The package contains curated supplementary tables and processed analysis data for 16 farmland drainage sediment sites in the Alar Reclamation Area, Xinjiang, China. It includes sampling metadata, sediment physicochemical properties, DOM optical and fluorescence indices, processed ASV abundance and taxonomy tables, sequencing quality-control summaries, alpha-diversity indices, environmental predictor matrices, ordination and statistical outputs, beta-diversity and community assembly results, ASV-salinity correlation outputs, and R analysis scripts. Raw 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing reads are available from the NCBI Sequence Read Archive under BioProject accession PRJNA1443063 and are not duplicated in this package.

Steps to reproduce

The dataset includes curated CSV tables, processed microbial community data, environmental predictor matrices, statistical output files, and R scripts used for the analyses reported in the associated manuscript. Users can reproduce the main ordination, beta-diversity, variation partitioning, ASV-salinity correlation, and community assembly analyses using the files in the processed_data, analysis_outputs, and scripts folders.
