Thermosiphon cooling effect may reduce floating photovoltaic operating temperature. Low temperature of photovoltaic will increase efficiency and power produced by photovoltaic. The data from experiment agree well with the hypothesis.

Steps to reproduce
Field experiment on floating photovoltaic was conducted at Saguling water reservoir, in West Java, INDONESIA. Parameter measured in this study: solar irradiation, electricity produced by photovoltaic, temperature of photovoltaic, water temperature, and ambient temperature.
