Steps to reproduce
This dataset was generated as part of a doctoral thesis and was created through a systematic sampling campaign that collected soil samples from predefined hydrological Work Units and target sediment samples from the catchment's outlet. After collection, all samples underwent a standardized preparation protocol that included air drying, sieving to less than 2 mm, and fine grinding using an agate mortar. The geochemical composition of the prepared samples was then analyzed using Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) following acid digestion. This process provided the elemental concentration data necessary for conducting subsequent sediment fingerprinting analysis.
