Description

This dataset contains 1,860 high‑resolution images of cultivated mushroom species collected at the Mushroom Development Institute, Savar (Dhaka), Bangladesh, during November–December 2024. Images are organized class‑wise into species‑specific folders to support computer vision research in species classification and downstream agricultural applications.

Steps to reproduce

1. Define scope and classes -Select six cultivated mushroom species: White oyster, Pink oyster, Golden oyster, Oyster, Button, and Yellow oyster. -Prepare a capture protocol specifying angles (top, side, underside), distance (20–90 cm), and lighting (daylight, diffused, partial shade). 2. Arrange site and equipment -Site: Mushroom Development Institute, Savar (Dhaka), Bangladesh. -Period: Nov–Dec 2024. -Cameras: Samsung S22, Redmi Note 11 Pro+. -Use default camera apps; disable beautification/filters. 3. Collect images -Photograph each specimen across growth stages, capturing multiple viewpoints per sample. -Maintain original resolution for Raw Images; avoid artificial enhancements
