BRP3 is a novel 26-amino acid peptide that circulates in mouse plasma and is regulated by feeding. Using a computational tool, “Peptide Predictor” we identified BRP3 and quantified its levels in mouse plasma through targeted mass spectrometry (MS) using a Thermo LC-ID-X instrument (Thermo Fisher). Synthesized mouse BRP3 (10 nM, 100 nM, 1 µM) was used as an authentic standard for measuring endogenous BRP3 levels. The dataset includes raw MS files capturing BRP3 levels in mouse plasma under fasting, feeding, and post-oral glucose administration conditions, alongside synthetic standards.
