Description

The dataset consists of six geospatial layers. The coastal shape, the road network, the hydrographic network, the administration boundaries and the land cover/use derived by manual digitization from Kitchener’s trigonometrical map of Cyprus, published in 1885. Additionally, the dataset includes the layer of the populated places described in the Census of 1881, accompanied by its population attributes. The dataset covers the entire area of the island of Cyprus.
